I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University’s Motor Neuron Center in New York City since February 2022.

Interested in the implementation of emerging technologies for the study and prevention of neurodegenerative and neurogenetic disorders, I am under co-mentorship of Prof. Serge Przedborski of Columbia University, and Dr. Alex Chavez of University of California, San Diego. I am critically involved in several projects using CRISPR technologies for the investigation of genetic modifiers of neurodegeneration.

In early 2022 I completed my PhD from the University of Cambridge, in the lab of Prof. Rita Horvath. Here I undertook several studies investigating the pathological features of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (a.k.a. hereditary motor and sensory peripheral neuropathy).
